hi guys,

I have an annoying issue with my Ep3..I have discovered that whenever the fuel levels lowers to 1/4 tank the car stutters and back fires when driving and wont even rev pass 3000rpm. Its like there is some kind of restriction.

Then As soon has the fuel level is topped to approximately 1/2 tank the problem goes away.

Is this a known issue...any ideas what could be causing this.

 

replace fuel filter. its a doozey to do because typically u never have to but it sounds like your has some serious **** goin thru it.,

 

once fuel is above this level cars runs perfect...you think is could be coming from the computer???

 

just change the fuel filter it will most probably will solve your issue!

I replaced both fuel pump and filter and problem went away
