installing A/C need help
OK, Working on my 89 hatch. Has D16Z6, Im installing all ac components and my question is how do i have Ac with no power steering? I never had Ac on the car but at one time the car did have Ac and this hatch has a manual steering rack. The ac bracket and compressor have no belt adjustments, All hondas have worked on have power steering and ac on same belt with adjustment on the power steering bracket.

I believe its a matter of getting the right mounting bracket. On my non power steering EF D16 series crx the air con bracket incorporates an adjusting pulley. The compressor pump is also definitely on a separate drive from the power steering.

I don't know what Hondas you've worked on, but EFs use separate belts. My wife had an EX sedan with A/C and P/S, it had a 2 belt crank pulley.
My hatch and CRX has A/C and no power steering, they have a 1 belt crank pulley. The belt adjustment for the compressor is the bracket, you actually move a tensioner pulley up and down. The adjustment for the power steering was at the pump, you move it like you do to an alternator.

I found a bracket listed for 92-95 civic, the one that came with my motor dose not look like this but... is this what i need for my set up?

This is a D-series bracket. The one that came out of my 89 Si hatch was exactly like the one that was on the DOHC ZC that I installed. I had to buy this one because the pulley came off and was lost. The pulley moves up and down via the bolt on top, that adjusts the belt tension.

alight guys thanks a ton you all have been very helpful, My issue was this motor i had bought came with every thing but the ac bracket was missing the pulley and adjustment. Just went to the junk yard and robbed another ac bracket.
I have the ac installed and working, i have one issue that is when im driving with the ac on my car is about 30-40% slower. It is bogging down the motor a ton! Its almost like the compressor clutch dose not engage when i accelerate. How would i test the clutch to make sure it is working correctly?

Glad you got it squared away. It's no wonder you didn't understand what we were talking about, since you were missing the pulley.
The power drop is normal, dunno know if it's 30-40% but it is noticeable. You want the compressor clutch to DISengage when accelerating.
