IDK about saying a definative no. Do you think its safe for an H series to cruise at 4,000RPM for 1200 miles?

Vague questions get vague answers. not trying to be a dick, but anyone can come up with a million and 1 reasons why something will/wont work. To the OP, just take your time and do it right and if you come across a more specific problem, thats imo when you should start making threads.

bump for info on h2b with ls 5th gear. my project will run this setup. anyone else try this? I'm sure it helps some, but without swapping in the entire LS final drive the difference won't be much.

what's the con's of having a ctr/tranny on a h22? what would be the risk associated? overreving break tranny

My h2b was daily driven for 2 years. Mostly city driving but it has seen alot of highway driving too. Farthest I ever took it was about an hour drive going 80 on the freeway. Still runs strong and reliable. By the way mines is a GSR tranny though. Can't really recall what RPM I was at going 80 though.

i dont see why it would b a problem since a b series and h series safe operating rpm limit is within 500-1000 rpm of eachother so with that being said it couldn't b overreving especially at 80 in 5th gear
