Had one a long time ago as a back up car. Could let it sit for months and it would start right up. Great car, never broke down, and a proper 4wd system with hub locks etc. could get through anything!

Good purchase.

Yeah i love the 4wd climbs just about anything regardless...

My only struggle is a have a long drive everyday and its alot of strain on that lil engine so i was wondering if like a K&N filter and like some top end cams maybe a header would help it breath easier, so she isn't straining as hard on the highway

Trim the top loop off of the door hinge and you will be able to drive around with the doors off. Its so fun in the summer.

Our old one....

You should TDI swap it. Lots of people also put geo tracker engines in them.

Not the same thing but i had a Sidekick with 31" tires and it was a 1.6L tbi motor it was not a drag machine but got me around pretty good and i was up north with -55-60 nights and it started up no problem and the 4x4 system in them in next to none.

In the samuri you get 2H 4H 4L and you can get a kit that can allow you to put in 2L. I use to go off roading with guys in jeeps and **** and i use to go threw **** they could not .

There a full frame with front and rear leafs. You can lift them with 1/4"x2" flat bar LOL. Parts are cheap and the only prob with them was. Water would drip onto the ecu with rusted out windows. So they put a plastic sheild on them to prevent this. You can buy the shield for like 5 bucks it takes 10min for peace of mind.

Yep. They were pretty capable stock i guess. The only one I ever really saw in person was heavily modified. V6 chev engine, custom bell housing, toyota 5 speed V6 tranny and transfer case, and toyota solid axles front and rear (with 4.88 gears and front and rear lockers) 3 link suspension with coil springs all around. I guess you just couldn't get it stuck, rear driveshaft angle seriously sucked though.

There are a number of really good Suzuki truck websites:

http://bbs.zuwharrie.com
http://zukiworld.com

These are the first that come to mind. FYI, I just picked up a '95 Sidekick but looked into Sammis.
