having trouble getting hondata s300 software installed on my laptop
I tried downloading the software for s300 but im running into lots of trouble, the s300 manager program will not open, the only thing i can get to run is the guide, and when i installed the program it found a trojan in the file, and no matter what i do i can only get the guide to open, i even plugged up my ecu to my laptop and tried to open new devices and it will not recognize a new device i need help please, i have uninstalled and re-installed 3 times now and im pretty sure its not an error on my part
Where are you downloading it from? Are you downloading it from here: http://www.hondata.com/smanager.html ? If so, try reducing your security settings
1. Disable your anti-virus or tell it hondata is not a virus.
2. Un-install the Smanager software.
3. Re-download it & install it.
4. Happy Tuning.

The OP must have an old Hondata cd.
It's not a virus. The older versions of the Smanager would be reported as a possible virus which is not true.
Download the latest version here: http://hondata.com/smanager.html

well i was able to get it downloaded by allowing my anti-virus to ignore the specific hondata file, i do have a few questions about my a/f the reading that looks like AF() my car was at 1.2 a idle then after some spirited driving it dropped to .85 and stayed around there, is this normal, i dont know what this is measured in

Click on the AF selection on the Sensors windows (left window).
