Picking up an ITR shell... what to look for?
CAR HAS BEEN PURCHASED... FOLLOW THE BUILD THREAD
https://honda-tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2865849
so after a long search I've possibly found the right shell. Its located 3 hours away, clean title 01 PY. I'm planning on leaving early tomorrow to take a look at it. I've asked the owner tons of questions but this is the first time im going to look at the car. I was wondering if you guys can give me any tips on what to look for. just a little info on the car, its owned by the original owner, it was set up to be a full circuit car. it has been completely gutted and has a custom rollcage. Its coming with a jdm front and 5 lug suspension. The owner has decided to keep the swap which I have no problem with because the motor which is the oem b18c5 has been built to its max potenial. I might buy the original tranny from the owner if i can persuade him.
I will be planning on returning the car to completely stock with minor upgrades. I'm comtemplating on restoring it back to USDM front ( which im leaning more too lol)
thanks for the help.

If you're looking to put it back to stock, why not save time/money and buy an unmolested one?

x2 the amount of time and money you will put into it will be more than if you were to buy one stock. But if you like putting lots of hours into a car just to be stock then go for it!
I'm getting this car for a steal and I would save money and enjoy putting back together. I would like to build a car for me. I'm sorry I was too vague when i said stock. the car will appear stock. the motor will be built for boost, with suspension and braking upgrades. AND yess i do love putting lots and lots on hours into a car no matter how I'd like it to be.
thanks for the comments, but can we stay on track on what to look for?

update:
I looked at the car earlier today and everything check out. its going to be a long road but I'm sure it's going to be worth it. The owner was very helpful and was able to answer all of my questions and explain to me what the car has been through and his history with it. thanks james (nextlevel_type_r).
I should be picking this car up tomorrow if everything goes as planned.
