ten minutes ago I was driving home and I see my check engine light come on. I know this is probably a dumb question but what could it be, and is it serious? I drove home fine with no problems.......... thanx for any help.

 

check out what code it is, from the blinking light on the ecu, its under the carpet of the front passenger seat. there's a little red light that should be blinking long blinks are in the 10s place and fast blinks are the 1s place. (2 long blinks + 4 fast blinks = code 24)

 

not on obd 0 cars!!!
it will blink 20 times for a code 20 and 5 times for a code 5 and so on.....jst check to see how many times its blinking and check to see what code it is.

but yeah, the mugen ecu is proabably it, what setup are you running?

 

I have a stock 90 si motor exept for an injen cold air intake and some dc 4-2-1 headers that Im putting on in the morning. so basicaly just a cold air intake....the mugen ecu shouldn't be on thier yet , but it is.

if you pour a header on, are you shure you havn't screwed the o2 sensor buddy ??

thanx for the help guys but I just put my stock ecu back on and the problem was solved, and no the headers are not on yet.
