Help!!! My Car Wont Go Into Gear!
Ok so i shredded my old throw out bearing and replaced it. its b16a tranny. the bearing came out in 3 pieces and in pretty rough shape, but the pressure plate is still good, so i replace rebuild and when i go to take off....the car still wont go in gear..I then Blead the clutch and still no resaults. Any ideas? im stumped
I am not trying to be mean about it, but it seems like you are somewhat inexperienced. Did you place the throwout bearing on the fork the correct way (two slits facing out), and did you make sure the forks springs sat into the ball on the housing of the transmission? Try sitting inside the car while a friend sits outside looking under the hood and make sure the slave cylinder pushes fork in and out. I have a feeling the bleeding/ installing job was done incorrect.
On a side note: Does the trans goes into all gears with the car off correct?

in not very inexperianced i built the car just over 300 to the wheels now, i did everything correctly the thro out is in correctly and i had my old man help me bleed it and yes the piston moves the fork. And correct the car goes into every gear when it is off. I did not check the clutch when i was in there its an act stage 2 and pretty new..
