Default H&R oe springs..do i need a camber kit

Hi,

I just picked up a 96 gsr with H&R oe springs (.75-1 inch drop). Do I need a camber kit?

I dont want to wear out the brand new kumho 712's

Nope, I wouldnt sweat it. If anything, just make sure you rotate your tires a bit more frequently to be on the safe side.

I have the same springs and it's not low enough to cause major premature wear on tires. I have never had a problem with my tires even though the camber is off on the front.

no, don't waste the money, your drop isnt significant enough. My car is lowered 2-2.25" and there is no inner tire wear. My camber is fine.

whenever you lower a car the camber and toe changes.....if the toe is bad, it will also wear your tires depending on if the toe is in or out....camber kits correct the camber but not the toe

I have the kumho's with the oe's and i DO run negative camber, i'm gonna buy a camber kit cuz it wore the **** out of the inside of the tires, and yes, i did do a 4 wheel alignment when I got them installed....so it CAN happen with the 1'' drop
