dizzy question...94 b18c1 engine
I have some question about my 1994 acura gsr b18c1 engine...
the dizzy is new about 4 months old but its not oem..
when i started the car and the dizzy is pretty rattling really loud when i put my car in neutral and the rpm is stay at 2500 rpm when in neutral then it will go down when driving in the gears....
what is the cause of inside the dizzy make rattling noise really loud????
help.....

are you absolutely sure it's coming from inside the distributor? because a loose rotor to the point that it's actually making noise should cause some serious driveability issues
too much torque- how is the bushing affect the noise?
el crapitan- it should be cuz when i first got new dizzy and it very quiet and run smoothly then something pop up and i felt on the dizzy which it rattling noise really loud, but theres something else, when i put 1st gear to go, it starting sound eerie and rattling noise then 2nd gear to 5th gear is all good...wht do you think its cause???

I can barely understand what you are saying in your last post? Anyways, open up the distributor and check for any loose/ missing parts. Have you tried taking the actual distributor out and spinning the back (part that slides into the intake cam) to see if that is the issue.
