That sucks....At least he was nice enough to come by and ring the doorbell. My neighbor across the street backed into my mom's EG and left. I confronted the parents about it and they said they would talk to their daughter. A few days later, they moved. lol This is in a $350k+ neighborhood too.
WTF... that expedition looks like someone just brushed up against it. atleast there paying for it. I had someone hit my old LS in the school parking lot and took off. bastards!!

To the OP did you get an estimate on the damages yet?

Better be careful. I had some people want to pay out of pocket for it but when they saw the bill they decided to try and run from it. I finally got their insurance to pay me $2200.
Same thing happened to my daily like 8 years ago. It was hit (while parked) exactly one day after returning from the body shop from some other ******* hitting it. Guy came into my in laws place and said, "I hit that blue car out there." They had to hold me down I was so furious. I was walking and getting rides for over a month waiting for it already. That totally sucked ***, so I definitely feel ya man.

what I was thinking, hes prob gonna say "oh crap" when he see's the bill and decide to do ins instead. I have all his info and luckily easy to walk to his house lol
At least he was man enough to take responsibility for his actions and let you know what happened, in today's economy and the way people are, most would have just went away and hope you would never come looking for them. Goodluck with everything, I want a TSX so bad.

Too bad it has to be this way, but you should call the cops.
Twice, different people have hit one of my cars and verbally accepted responsibility and twice argued about the repair estimate and refused to accept it.
Each time I had to involve the cops and the insurance company.
Both times I took the car to the 'certified insurance repair shop' and the final cost was more than the first estimate.
One other time, a kid was pretending to be Luke Duke (of the Dukes of Hazard) as he slide across my car's hood.
He jamed his knee into my fender and I called his dad. His dad said that it would be paid for it, until he got the bill, from the body shop.
Then he said that I should have shopped around and got a better price.
He didn't pay a dime.
So, I learned that I must call the cops, when money is involved.
