Default WTF Window Motor/Switch

Hello, Please help.

I have a 1996 2 door sticksifht accord and I'm love with it (codename "veneno") 200,000 miles and still runs better than my friends Toyota's.

Anyways, once i left the driver side window down and the controls got wet. I though at first that I would have to replace the motor but apparently I was mistaken as the new one i bought its also non functional. Then It hit me! The switch .... its must have a small circuit board inside (witch it did and i know are very sensible to liquids) so i replaced the switch for another one i bought on eBay (because on part stores its around $200) but this one also does not work. Passenger window works, Electric mirrors work, everything works except the driver side window motor.

I know my basic electronics and i do own a multimeter. When i test the cables i get a signal out of every single one except the one going to the driver side window.

Should i buy the $200 part? (Did I get riped off?)
Is there any other way to test the switch?
Any ideas where to find this part cheaper? (Part impossible to find at junkyard / My model its nonexistent at junkyards. 2Dr)

Advice / Comments please?

You can test the motor and wiring from the switch.

I will assume wire colors are the same as in a 96 Integra, start by testing for ground continuity on the motor leads, with the plug still plugged into the switch test the motor leads, [red/yellow and red/blue] they should both test as grounds, [ground at rest system], if not, replace the switch.

To test the motor and wiring, unplug the switch and supply power and ground to the two leads, [red/yellow and red/blue], power to one and ground to the other, reverse the power and ground to run the window in the other direction.

Test for power to the switch for the drivers window, should be a white/yellow, with switch not plugged in test for power, [ign. switch on] there should be two leads that are 12V+, white/yellow, [drivers] and blue/black, [pass.], if there is power for the drivers window and you can get the motor to work by supplying power and ground directly to the motor leads, replace the switch. 94
