Default Best manifold up to about $500??? Inline Pro, SLS, GO-AUTOWORKS??

Well believe me I have burned up the search button. I'm new to Hondas and just got my Integra LS with 83000 miles a week ago. Its just too slow for me. So I got a good deal on a Holset HY35 turbo that has IMO no play in the shaft so I think I'm good to go. It has a 9cm housing too btw.

I am piecing together a turbo kit for myself and right now I'm at the point of picking out a manifold. I like the idea of a cheap Log manifold but have heard stories of exhaust pulses going back into the head because of the design so I'm not sure about those. I like the inlinepro stuff but IMO are alittle bit high for their prices. Their charge pipe setup with fittings and clamps are almost $500 and Goautoworks has the same thing for $300.
Anyways I'm looking to make 270-290whp on the stock motor (I think that will be safe. What do you guys think?) but in a couple years when I build the motor and put VTECH!!!! on it I plan to make about 500whp. So out of the manifolds out there which would do the job for now? I wouldn't mind saving some money now and getting a cheaper manifold to help get the build moving faster. Here are what I have found out so far...Oh and I do plan to lose AC and PS and run a half radiator.

Also how bad are the log manifolds really for a 300whp car? The SLS one looks decent...

My biased opinion leans towards the inlinepro. I have one and have

had it for a year now and I love it! If you get one make sure to get it

heat coated before you install it. They are the most reliable manifold

that I have experienced and you can make as much power as you

would ever need. People have made up to 900 with these.

The blox manifold is the same as the inline pro and is $210 new. You'll have to go through spoolin performance for a downpipe unless you make your own. I think mine was 275-300 for the dp. Sls makes awesome products. I'd go with them if you don't mind spending the money. Also if you plan on upgrading in the future to VTEC then why not just spend the money in the beginning on a ramhorn setup. You can get manifold, down pipe, dump tube combo from good companies for around $900-1k

The blox is not the same as the one he mentioned. The inlinepro T4

manifold is dual drilled for a t3 flange and a t4 flange and has a much

better placement of the turbo for the down pipe and filter. I wouldn't

get a mini-ram over the inlinepro. Their manifold is "technically" a log

but doesn't really perform like you typical log style manifold.

I am really starting to like the inline pro t4 mani. the more I look at them the more appealing they are. I found something sorta like it for D series people. just ordered one for my budget build.

What about Spoolin's cast manifold? http://www.spoolinperformance.com/bs...old-p-457.html Would I have to grind on the block with the big HY35 housing?

Also found this one.. http://www.spoolinperformance.com/sp...ick4-p-59.html

Its so damn confusing on which one I should go with!

I just read this thread and it seems a LOG wouldn't be that bad of an idea. https://honda-tech.com/forums/forced-induction-16/spoolin-performance-log-manifold-2758693/

have you ever looked at JDL auto design they have life time guarantee to the original owner and are a few hundred less then the major competitors im picking up my top mount from them. I am a certified welder and can tell you that all the manifolds i have seen from them look great. they are also H-T sponsor

JDL auto designs? Never heard of them and their webpage doesn't seem to be working.

I've been reading more and seems like the Spoolin Log has had good results. Might go that route.. Then later after the build I'd like a better turbo and a full ram style manifold for better top end.

I would take a nice power band over top end any day of the week. also if your boosting a stock ls the intake manifold is pretty restrictive, I used to have a ls turbo in my hatch and with the stock intake mani power fell off after 6800, I put a xs power (lol) intake mani on it which was basically a itr rep flanged for a ls and it pulled really hard till 7400 and I didn't wanna rev it any more then that (stock rod bolts)

I guess JDL auto design is a newer company trying to make it in the import world. they are located in phoenix AZ next to a lot of competitors. if i had to choose full-race or JDL auto design well, you already know, cheaper and same if not better quality IMO.

ronnie@eurojetracing.com is who i contacted they made the exact kit i wanted (becuase i already had a previous set up dinnit need certain items) and have had great customer service

I have the spoolin peformance quick 4 on my setup, and its a really nice peice. Fitment sucks as I had to cut the **** outta my power steering/Tq brackett, but It didnt require much block notching and performs really well. And for the money I think its the best of the ones you have listed thus far. The inline pro is a good peice too, but its almost just as expensive as the quick 4. Good luck

A couple of my friends have the SpeedFactory mini-ram style manifold, and they have had great luck with it.

Rcautoworks he will get you what you need for a damn good price and has some great customer service. He takes care of all of my fab needs and has been doing so for a few years now. He would have put his hands on 3 of my builds
