I just installed a set of ebay oem replica foglights. I did modify the harness the shipped me cause a harness was missing. I removed the switch and relay they provided and then wired the foglight togethe and then ran the power to the oem connector in the engine bay and then ran a inline fuse holder from the oem foglight connector to the fuse box under the steering wheel to the terminal listed for running lights.

But when i went to turn them the turned on for a few seconds then went out.

The fuse box under the dash where you hook up to the flashing light terminal no longer reads 12 volts when i turn the running light switch on.

The fuses for the running light and running light relay are NOT blown. Also nothing works when i flick the running light switch on; gauge backlight, gear selector backlight, ringing bell when door is open, front running bumper lights, rear running taillight

If anyone has had this problem or knows a possible solution please help
