I understand these are spoon/ style carbon duckbills, but the majority of duckbills for the ek i see flare upwards. I DONT WANT THAT. I want one that doesnt flare up and just goes straight back along with the body line.

1st picture-Authentic, quality.

2nd picture-Replica ebay junk. Completely hit and miss with fitment and "angle".

 

thats weird cuz ive owned 2 replicas and they flare up like the rest of them as seen on the "authentic" first image. imo the replica "junk" looks better so its a matter of who gets lucky to get a flatter one? damn...

 

The replica finish/material is way worst, especially where the spoiler lines up to the roof and it's much bulkier. A lot of people prefer the original design, but I guess it's a matter of opinion.

A few years ago I had an EK hatch, and before I bought a Spoon duckbill I had gotten a replica, fit poorly but it was almost straight with the roof line just like that picture so you'll have to hope the design was poor or find a used one and test fit it.

The paint was an accident, underneath it's genuine Spoon CF yo.

 

On my previous car I had an Ebay duckbill btw, and it didn't look as nice as the real one I have now.
Didn't fit too good either, it didn't match the roof line and even scratched the roof when I opened my trunk.
