I've recently been getting a idle control error and changed it out. Few days later my car won't start. It cranks but won't start and throws up a check engine light. I tryed reseting the ecu with no luck. I have no idea what it is.

 

What code is the engine throwing?

 

Let me check. I didn't check because I thought this was a common problem with a common fix.

 

Anytime your car is throwing code, always check it. it could be common or it may not, but it will always point you in the correct direction on what the problem is/could be.

 

Thanks for the adivce. Funny how these cars have a mind of its own. The code is gone but it still won't start. Could this problem Have to do with groundings or spark plugs. I love my civic but if it was a guy would whop its ***

 

Check the ground from the tranny to the frame. also check all your grounds. also clean out your IAC. tha might help aswell.
