Default Fuel cut on deceleration on a P28?

I know that on newer cars (exactly what year Honda implemented this, I have no idea) there is a fuel cut on deceleration. People mention that sometimes it is better to just leave the engine in gear as you coast to a stop, at least in terms of better mpg.

Does the P28 offer this feature? Or is it something tuning software like crome can add? I'm a complete newb at this stuff, so please bear with me.

Yes, a stock P28 has deceleration fuel cut. So do the tuning software options for OBD1.
