just a quick question does the rhd carbon dash parts fit into a USDM type R? I bought a stolen recovery type r and i need these parts just need to know if they fit before i buy them thanks guys!

 

As far I know the climate control, cup holder, ash tray and the ashtray housing parts that suround the cig lighter will work. The driver side ac vent dont match up and if your going use the other cf pieces like the shifter bezel and the window switches those too will not work. there's a diy thread on how to switch the internals from the window swithes to make those work.

Switches WILL work as is, except the AUTO will be for the wrong window. Passenger switches (JDM/USDM) are interchangeable as is. Driver switch CF plate can be mounted onto a USDM master switch with some dremeling and a drilling of a new hole.

 

lol really dont care about the switches more about the center section of the dash

 

you will need the udsm driver vent to look right seen people use jdm one but part facing the door is open, climate, ash tray and cup holder is a stait swap
