Problem: Loss of Power, power goes on and off, tried to get a jump, power came on, however, not enough to start the engine. The ignition did turn. After jump car went dead again . .

Interesting Find: When power is restored, I tried to crank the car again, car goes dead, but when I open the car door, power is restored back in car. Weird?

Previous Upgrades: I replace the battery and alternator last month

Thoughts: It's something electrically, that I know .. ..

Quick Note: My break light on the dash board was on, I thought I just needed to replace the light, could this be a problem too? Also it was raining, and my car window was left down the night before, could this damage wires and cause this to happen?

I don't know, any help would be much appreciated.

First, NO idea of what year/engine/trans/milage we are dealing with??

Check the battery and connections....jumped car, power came on, ign turned-assuming you mean starter motor tried to turn engine over...but slow?. Pulled jumper cables off and nothing......battery is dead, bad conections at battery or alt.

Brake light? again not sure of year,,,,,could be a bulb or low fluid? Which "light" is on?-"Break" or one of the lights around the "car"---like when the door is open.

PLEASE don't take any of this the wrong way,,,want to help, just need a little more info.
