Default New kid from Va..

How's it goin' guys and gals? I'm Blake, 18, and just bought a ej1 as a daily. Enough about me here's the car..

The wheels will be gone asap. Once I find a clean, legit set, i'll relieve myself of the knock-offs.

Powered by an Ls.

My last 240 in the back ground..

My track car! (Going 5 lug soon along with some good fitting, light weight wheels..)

After christmas (for the 240), i'm picking up another ka to build. 8.5:1 comp., cams, everything and slapping a t3/t4 on to start the season. As I progress, I will upgrade to a bigger turbo. As for the Honda, I might go for an all motor build once I pick up a new daily..

The LS swap in your car is so well executed and proper. It looks as if no corners were cut and everything was done the legit way. I appreciate the arrangement of the spark plug wires, hose from VC to intake, and stock "bolt-ons".

Nice job!

Thank you sir! A buddy of mine bought it a while back and wanted to get back into a suv so I scooped it up. Plus, I daily drove a 4.6l Lincoln Towncar for about a year and a half and It gets terrible mpg's compared to this thing!

Nice job!
I'm going to loom a few more wires so it looks as if it is a factory motor. Most people would never know it was swapped if they opened the hood... I love that!

If I were you id ditch the lip, throw on some OEM wheels and dump all funds into the S13.

I don't know how I feel about the lip (love/hate feelings).. It was on there when I bought the car.. It feels as if it's plastic and it's broken in one piece already (FRP I assume). As for wheels, I was looking for a set of legit wheels or OEM wheels but I haven't really found anything that stands out. I hate knock offs with a passion so the wheels (on both cars) are going asap.

I'm open to any suggestions for wheels...

The 240 is a drift car and I bought it 100% stock to build as a drift car and it's about 90% ready for next season so I won't really need to dump too much more money into it. After next season, I will dump plenty of benjamins into it!

Nice cars!

The lip looks ok, I think a oem eg6 lip would be much nicer. And some ls mesh wheels too.

18 and two cars already? Dang, you must be working a couple of jobs or at least one nice paying one.

The engine bay of your EJ is pretty much flawless, as I see it. Great pair of cars.

Thanks everyone! I work my butt off to have what I have (35 hours + 5 classes/week).

As for wheels, Ls mesh looks awesome! I spent a couple hours looking for wheels last night and how well they fit the body style of the Ej and meshies are my favorite (oem wheels of course). Si's aren't too bad either!

I remember a while ago when this thing had an OEM lip.. Not sure if the guy still has it or if he put this lip on over top of it... I'll look tonight once I get home from work.

Swap is so clean and factory looking in the coupe. I'd say take it all back to stock with OEM wheels, either Si's or mesh, and a EX/Si lip

I'm about two hours from you with a blind old woman driving!

ChrRiS: Thanks! I have too much time in the s13.. Still need to finish designing the cage and building the spare ka..

Mattyz: Thanks and I have no clue what mounts they are. I can check tomorrow if I have time after I leave the gym.

King Compression: Thank you sir!

I need power steering! I can't turn this thing in the parking lot once I finish lifting. It's such a funny sight!

I'm contemplating coilovers.. I want to be another inch lower all around but the the Skunk2 spring/strut combo feels awesome for a daily.. I've been reading a lot of good things about Function and Form and how well they are on the street.. I hate Teins mainly because they ride like *** on 240's and you're paying for a name (I know they're mostly track coilovers though). I have Buddyclubs on the s13 and they ride pretty good for aggressive spring rates. Not sure about how well they perform/ride on Hondas.. Any input?
