Default acceptable compression on b18c1--turbo setup

I've got a stock b18c1 with 220 compression on all 4 cylinders. The motor has 180k miles on it. I was wondering how well the motor would do with a turbo setup on it. Being that the compression is not at its highest. I was hoping for 300-350hp on a modest tune. Any and all info and opinions on this would be great. I have not done a leak down test on it. I was pretty content on the 220 across all cylinders. I have also wondered how much potential power i'll be losing b/c of compression if any. Thanks!

it shouldnt be an issue. 220 consistently across all 4 cylinders is better than 250 on 3 and 200 on 1.

I dont see any reason why you cannot boost it

looks like a healthy motor to me but that's a lot of miles. just be sure you have money to rebuild it in case something lets go.

My freshly rebuilt motor was at 225 across all 4 cylinders...I have yet to find a definite answer on what the compression should be (NOTE: I built mine with lower compression pistons also).

If you are seeing 220 on all cylinders & the engine doesn't smoke under load & doesn't burn abnormal amounts of oil. It should be fine.
