Default Headlight replacement

I hit a deer a week ago and need a new passenger headlight. I know that everyone suggests retrofitting the stock headlights, but I'm looking to do something a little different. I'm not huge on halos due to the fact that its just more to go wrong with the headlight, but I did find these two different assemblies on eBay, and both seem pretty legit and DOT approved.

These are my second choice and would be in black.

I really like these because they look relatively OEM with a projector. Not crazy about the LEDs on the sides of the low beam, but I've had DEPOs on my 5th gen and didn't have any problems.

I'm probably leaning toward the second ones, but I just wanted to see if anyone has had/seen these on their car and if they know of any major issues or drawbacks. And yes, I love being ricey.

If it was me I just buy a stock unit, and then watch for a pair like you want used and buy them cheap.

Why would I pay $100 for a stock headlight, wait for aftermarket ones that most people don't sell used, to save maybe $150? Makes no sense.
