hello im new to the forums, and i need some help please.



i just bought a 93 accord 5speed with a h22a in it and i need some new mounts i called honda and the parts dude said they might not fit and all 3 will cost me about 470-500$ im looking then to get some aftermarket ones that are a bit cheaper or if the oem honda mounts fit ill do that id rather do quality > price any day. can any one give me a shop in orlando florida area, or website to buy them cheap, and please tell me which mounts would fit my current set up.

let me know if more info is needed..my car shakes like crazy around 50mph and up.

no.you have to modify the drivers side mount.

Get a '92-'96 Prelude REAR engine mount and an Accord front engine mount. Then fill the front Accord engine mount with polyurethane listed in the FAQ. Getting a new tranny mount (90-93 Accord) and driver's side (90-93 Accord) wouldn't hurt either.

The mounts that takes me most abuse are the front and rear mounts. Mainly the front engine mount. Fill it with polyurethane and you should be fine.

 

The 4th Gen accord mounts will fit. You only have to modify 5th Gen Accord front mounts. This would be a good time to replace all the mounts. RockAuto ftw. Tax-free

 

why not just get a set of esp mounts?
