I just bought a B18a1 swap. I was wondering how I know which time frame the engine and transmission is from (90-91 or 92-93) Also the guy gave me three distributors how do I know which one is obd1. Also got a no name mulitpoint engine harness, how do I know what vehicle it is from? Also the transmission didnt come with a starter. Can I use one from a d series transmission or even one from an automatic hydro transmission?

 

the obd1 dizzy will have 2 grey colored plugs on it. to put it in your ef your gonna pretty much have to mod your harness from your single cam and wire a few things up to the ecu.

 

normallyyou can call honda and give them the numbers on the block and they can tell you from what year. since you got an ef i would use an obd0 dizzy other wise read post above. as for the starter get it from a 90-93 integra.

 

Does anyone have pictures of a YS1 installed in an ef. I need to see how it bolts up to the hasports, etc.
