Default z6 swap in ef

im gonna start on this project soon. Got a a6 block already, but since the wire harness is kinda haggard, i wanted to use a z6 wire harness is it possible to just use the z6 harness instead of chopping the a6 harness more? Like what would i need to be able to use the z6 harness like not converting from obd 0 to 1 but just using the z6 for engine and a6 for inside?

Well obviously there's a big difference you'd have to hange your plugs on the engine harness to obd0 which would be a hassle or the opposite to obd1 and your vtec wires woudlnt go to the ecu if you do it that way do it right keep the a6 harness and run the 3 wires for vtec to the ecu
