Default Camber kit question

I see these camber kits are just screws and washers in a sense so could i just use screwsand washers i have at work? I work at a car dealer. Instead of buying some brand screws and washers could i use normal ones or no?

You have to use class 8.8 or better. Buy the bolts sold as a camber kit, or find some but make sure they are class 8.8.

Why do you need a camber kit? If youre lowering the car really the main spec you need to look at is toe angle. Camber has a fairly wide acceptable range, approx -.5 to -3 roughly is fine.

I love that response as "why do you need it?". For most, you don't, a simple correction in toe which is mainly the cause of eating tires but people always say oh yeah its my camber When people ask me why I use them I have a different approach. Who says the factory camber curve is good for racing? Maybe drag racing, I prefer to set mine a little ahead/more negative camber than it would have without it at that suspension travel. With my setup, its not slammed, its far from it. But I like to set the base for the camber different. Lowered 1.75" up front I use -1° camber. I would like to see some test with the stock curve, with much compression of the factory suspension, and see how much negative camber there is.

The majority of people asking about camber kits think they need it because of the tire wear. They dont realize its the toe thats killing tires. There are not as many here that are actually tuning with them for racing purposes.

Haha, I'm not using them because i think they help the tire wear, I know camber kits are NOT needed and it's all toe with the tire wearing out very quick which could be solved with an alignment, Im asking because once i put my coilovers on and put my engine in I want to start autocrossing maybe once and a while and figured if I have the bolts why not use them instead of buying them when i have them. I have 8.8 bolts at work Thats all the answers im looking for guys! Thanks for the help!
