belt tensioner

Default belt tensioner

My engine has 144k+. Im changing my timing belt, do i need to replace the tensioner or just the spring.

spring just hold place does nothing except for tensioning install, so to answer your question just the tensioner if you want to

I always do timing belt/t-belt tensioner/water pump/crank seal/cam seal/valve cover gasket/crank bolt everything together every 4yrs/100,000km.....
