Default Del Sol - How access space below rear window?

Hello,

I was wandering how to access to the space underneath the rear window, beacause I dropped something there.
Is it a easy way or it's better to let my garage do ?

Thanks for your answers

Good luck, I once found a license plate down there! I used some bent metal clothes hangers to get it out. What did you drop?

You can take that big plastic part off of the interior just by pulling on it. Doesn't really help much though.

You can pull the interior pieces apart, that's a good starting point.

You mean the inside, right? Behind the plastics? Or do you mean down the window channel?

Easier said than done, but... (Got these directions from someone with a del Sol - from his memory.) Remove the center piece and then speaker covers. Then remove the personal trunk.

Getting into the window area might be a bit more difficult...

You might want to actually tell us what you dropped since that could help in retrieving it. It sounds like you're being sarcastic about the license plate, but it's difficult to tell with just text and smilies.

For tight places, hardware stores carry a couple different tools to retrieve things. There are magnets on wand things, and these long claw grabber things. Or a clothes hanger or such could work. It may take more time using something like this, but then you don't have to tear your car apart.

Did it ! I managed it with a long metal rod (used to clean rifle) and tape on the top. Thanks anyway.
