93 blowing white smoke
Its been sittin for three years and I'm just asking for all the possible reasons for white smoke. And theres also a big exhaust leak aswell. Oil change? Gas tank? Cat? Headers? O2sensor? Idunno enlighten me so I can get this done quickest possible
you cant say that for sure spoolinlude white smoke does not mean your head gasket is blown..
The car has been sitting for a long time so its probably going to smoke for a bit. Try letting it run for a little while (after the oil change, plug change, new fuel etc since its been sitting for so long)

Ive already done a compression check, and im sure its not a head gasket, if it was, then slight leaks would occur. I haven't let it run because no new oil or anything yet so far, but i've drove it about 20 minutes.
So you didn't let it run, but you drove it for 20 mins? Umm.....
White smoke means coolant/moisture, if it was moisture from sitting, it would have cleared up after running the car for a few minutes.
If you drove it for 20mins and it didn't over heat, I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm getting alot of opinions about the white smoke so I'm just gonna redo it all. oil, coolant blah blah
do a leak down and compression test... that will tell you if it is the headgasket.
also smell the smoke.
white means moisture. If it smells sweet then it is coolant. if it doesnt smell then it is just water.

Well today I just did the oil change and cleaned out the gas tank, and did the valve clearance, now im hearing slight knocking out of the block. thinking it may be a blown headgasket or piston rings, and the white smoke is still blowing out.
edit: the compression test came out 200 200 185 225 i believe

done with all the maintenance thats no problem, i got the money for that. I just dont have the money or time for a gasket or piston rings.
Bump,
Before I actually buy the new headgasket, I wanna make sure it is the head gasket.
Compression came 200 200 185 225, but if i do a compression test again, the numbers come up differently. Hearing slight knocking but not sure if its normal. Slight white smoke still, no milky coolant. oil and gas tank cleaned and refilled.
After turning the car off and listening in the engine bay, air sounds like its escaping from somewhere and theres slight oil all over the tranny.
and I have slight carbon build-up.
Cracked head gasket or can it be something else?
It drives fine but the knocking worries me.
If anyone can help that would be nice.
