im so confused on all these new PB and records
just a few questions
like the current thread by DP saying they are the 24.5 kings.......... didnt van natten go 8.83 with a 24.5 or are they talking about doing it in a different class then sfwd?
also who the hell is carla? is that what felix named is car?
who is chuna? is that another car name?
what are major factors that differentiate true street ,sfwd and outlaw classes? like turbo size, intercooler type, weight etc.
im totally serious here it may seem like a joke but its really not. help me out here guys. im trying to stay up to date on all this stuff even though i dont have a car that will ever perform at those levels.

Return of La Carla is the red civic felix was driving this past weekend. Thats the name of there team\car
Cunha is Fernando Cunha of CLM Motorsports
SPFWD is the old NHRA class 72mm turbo 25x9 tire max and there was a weight maybe 2400 or 2500 min and exhaust also.
True Street is 67mm turbo 25x9 tire and 2400 min weight

Van Natten did go 8.83 in SFWD trim so yes he currently holds the record. Carla was only driven by Felix it is not his to my knowledge. As for the classes
Outlaw- 72mm turbo, air to water, 26 tire, 2450lbs
SFWD- 72mm max, Air to air 24.5 tire, 2400
True Street- 67mm max
Outlaw- 72mm turbo, air to water, 26 tire, 2450lbs

True Street- 67mm max
I think now days everyone has to hold a record and that's why you see fastest b series with one headlight on stock rims in the rear with a red passenger door. Then of course there's the other guy that holds the record for the same car but with a green passenger door
brilliant!
for the guys that responded with answers thanks, as for miller, well i kind of expected a smart *** response from u if u were to respond.
with that being said is there a limit to outlaw turbo size, miller werent u running a 76mm at one point or are u still.
so van natten does hold the sfwd record them, are the guys at DP aware of this?

Sfwd died in 2007. The king of sportfwd at the time of it's death was either Felix or Courtney Green. I know they both went 9.30s that year at Etown.
If NHRA was still around, I don't think the cars would be running as fast as they are right now.
Just saying.

I forgot about that you are right. Then ya if you want to get technical then no it is not the "record"
