i think my friend has some on his accord. The ride is not to firm, but not to soft. and it sits pretty low. Not a bad set of coilover sleeves

Is there anyone on the board or know someone that has Ractive coilovers? I would also like to know how they ride for the simple fact that I haven't installed it on my car yet and would like some facts before I put them on...

I got the R1's with KYB's and they are fine. Sits low, rides really good for a lowered car, and the only way I woulda paid for money is for Tein's or something, but it's up to you.

had r1 with stock shocks. it sucked majorly. maybe it would have been better with some after market shocks. i didn't try, so i couldn't tell you. just never do the same thing i did, and install coilovers with STOCK shocks. its a rough ride.

if u get ANY coil over system (or springs for that matter) and have it sit on stock shocks (especially if u havent changed the shocks since 88-91) your car will be bouncey..

if your stock shocks are brand new, i give it a month or two at the most before your ride is bumpy..

bottom line..get aftermarket shocks..just as important as what kinda springs u get..

and what brand is R1? or is that a brand itself? i havent heard of them
