You guy's are the real men and women of this country. So brave and able to

never thinking about those who protect us from the freaks with bomb's and missiles.

As a fellow Marine, I take great pride in my country and of my fellow comrades in the corps. The Marine Corps has offered me endless opportunities where I have not bettered myself physically, but have also disciplined my mind, body and soul. In the spirit of “Once a Marine, Always a Marine”, I feel it is my greatest duty and honor to those men and women who are at home and abroad fighting for our freedom.
As a Veteran Marine, I have come across an array of individuals who share the same dream and passion as myself: the immense pride and devotion for our nation. The Marine Corps have trained many men and women, like myself, to fight to the end; not showing any form of emotion, but total commitment to the philosophy of the Marine Corps. In my many encounters with fellow war veterans coming from Iraq, I have come to notice that sometimes those feeling get altered because of their experiences abroad. Most of them share a common theme of remorse and regret, while others have no words to express their emptiness inside because of some of the catastrophic experiences that remain forever engraved into their minds.
While the Marine Corps offers various programs to channel their emotions through physical, emotional, and verbally therapy, I feel that it is not enough. These men and women have fought for our country through their personal turmoil at home and the least we can do is help them. In my own personal experience, I have come across through some very traumatic events where physical, emotional and sometimes
verbal therapy was not enough. In my many sessions with my therapist, I have come to realize that what puts me at ease is my passion for cars.
While my professional and personal life is filled with many ups and downs, I feel that as a human being it is necessary to devote some personal me time where the focus to myself and no one else in order to maintain some form sanity. The Marine Corps offers many opportunities for our fellow veterans to channel their pains and agonies into a form of positive physical and emotional therapy where it may be fishing, camping, swimming and so on. But in my defense, while others may feel that the art of building and racing cars may not seems as a form of therapy, I feel that it is.
The time spent building, creating and mobilizing a form of art into an automobile most definitely puts me in a relaxed state of mind. I would like to open this form of art to those men and women who feel that the resources that are available now they cannot identify with; to come and experience the thrilled of race car development and racing. I what to create a safe haven for those fellow veterans where there is no judgment or subconscious remorse, but rather a safe place where the doubts, the pains, the despairs can be eliminated for a moment and be taken a drift to a place where one can come to together through hands on experiences in the art of automobile car development.
