can you boost a dual point d15b1?
I want to boost my d15b1 i just bought a ef hatch for 200 and it run's good.I wanted to know if i can boost it while it is still dual point and obd0.
everything about the tuning will be easier if you do a simple MPFI manifold and distributor swap.
the MPFI obd0 and obd1 ECUs are completely tuneable, with free programs, or excellent "real" programs like hondata, neptune, ectune, etc.
DPFI stuff is NOT easy to tune. and, you need to add fuel injectors somewhere in the chargepiping, blah,blah,blah...
and the same setup with an MPFI manifold will make more power, be easier/cheaper to do, and probably be drastically more reliable because of the readily available tuning options, and the amount of tuners that a proficient with said programs.
the DPFI longblock is fine to boost..we've done it many times. i can do 200WHP, but not generally forever...but yeah, it can happen

Well i alread have a kit that was a X mas gift from years back for a D series. So im really spending nothing at all to boost the car.I do the mpfi swap then i just wanted to see if it can be done while dual point.
I am going to mpfi swap this weekend when i do will i be able to boost then on the obd0 ecu.Or can i buy a jumper from obd0-obd1 and run a d15b7 ecu then i should be able to boost and get tuned right?
