After workin numerous hours day an night for a whole week straight with not much sleep we attended the best race of the year the world cup finals at m.i.r this weekend with only one goal to get this two monsters in the 8's ,with not much luck we found a noise in carlas motor saturday night , so right away we got to work and switched the motor out with the help of our buddy jtec and the rest of the dp crew and la carla crew rapidly to get the car ready for sunday morning 3rd qualifying pass ,with a totally differnt engine the CAT got to work right away on adjusting the tuning, we tested the car sat nite on the pass the car managed a crazy 1.45 60' witha few things to work on sunday morning we fixed the car and went 8.84@172 mean while our DP ek hatch went 8.94@173 sat night its been a long journey to get our car in the 8's and to have the oportunity to build la carla in 6 days and get it to perform the way it did its just an amazing feeling plus with all the help and knoledge from felix and his great driving skills we can say we finally did it!!!.

oh the motor was spray painted with a high temp paint

 

oh yea the evo will be in the mix next to rolandos coupe for sure !!
