good replacement for D15B2?
The car is a 1991 Honda Civic Wagon DX with DPFI. It has 186,000 miles on it and runs great, but is starting to use oil.
I was wondering if you could just swap out the D15B2 longblock with a SOHC ZC longblock for a cost effective replacement for a daily driver. The car is also an auto so we are not really concerned with performance, so we want to keep it DPFI as well just to keep it simple.

"BiG ChOr!Zo" was just saying get the SOHC version...and that's the end of this thread. In otherwords, he was just confirming what you asked.

they should they are both d series motors. I know the alt. will & the a/c brackets mount to the same points for both types of compressors (mitsuba & sanden)
