Default Please give me hope that it's not the rear seal...

Lol, hey guys. So I had this coupon for a $35 "full maintenance service", took my GSR in and from their inspection told me I had a valve cover/ oil pan/ main rear seal leak. Got my fingers crossed that it's just the oil pan and valve cover, but since there's over 200k miles probably gonna be all three... Taking it to another shop that did my motor mounts in the morning, but is there a way to make sure so I don't get bamboozled? Thanks in advance peeps

if you take off the flywheel dust cover and you see fresh oil then it is the rear main seal. If it was the rear main seal it is not all that hard to replace but if it is replaced u should replace the clutch and resurface the flywheel while ur at it.

Yes, check it yourself, as mentioned it's not hard to do. 94
