I am switching my 98 honda civic DX hatchback to a manual rack. I have looking on here and couldnt figure out why people are switching out sub frames. I have seen post where people ar using the del sol subframe. Any suggestions???

the eg sub frame had a taller bend(thats what i call it) the the ek frame so u get a lil more room. i usually only see it in the k swaped ek other than that it is pretty point less.
You swap subframes when going to a manual rack because the holes that the bracket bolts to are in a different spot on power and manual subframes, also make sure you get the lower universal joint for the steering column with your manual rack, those are different too.

The subframes are the same no need to swap, I just put power steering in my 96 which came with manual, it'll bolt up without any mods
