I met up with the owner and drove it. I submitted the loan application to the bank as well. Seeing my now fluid leaking Jeep the next morning reminded me that I need a replacement DD first, so I told them to forget about it before they processed anything. I ended up getting a few PMs regarding the car from another possible buyer who gave me a little more info that turned me off on the deal as well. I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner Joe. I've been going through intense training for my new job for like a month now, so I haven't really had a lot of time to update.
Sup Chase! I've been around. Work has been stupid busy since March. Mostly on ITRCA when online. 309's great!! Got 5 events in this season...she's really come around. Did a lot of refreshing on heR (bushings, mounts, etc). Really tightened the car up. Love it much more now. So about 14k miles of DD, road trips, and track in just under 5 months.
Storage soon though...once the salt trucks come out.

Jeep...I've been keeping an eye out for a TJ....going to hold off til spring though. I did check one out, a '98 with only 93k miles....leaking fluids all over the place though..haha. ITRs are getting cheap....I think there's a thread somewhere about it...haha
Sure! Let me know when you have your ankles firmly gripped
And a wonderful thread at that

No prob mang....yeah, don't jump into a caR you're not comfortable with. Hold out and get what you want the first time around.

I had a similar experience ALMOST purchasing an NSX this summer. When I decided I was buying it I couldn't sleep the night before. The following morning I was like "Oh noes!!" Then I convinced myself to do it again.. Kept going in and out of the house when it was time to go to the bank. Back and forth, back and forth.. Do I do this? Do I not do it? I was actually telling the bank teller (who is a friend of mine) how amazing it was going to be. She was in the middle of writing a bank draft for it, when I chickened out.
