Default Noise after parked for an hour or more.

I plan on taking it up to the dealership later this week, but thought I would post here first, that way when I'm explaining this to someone, I might seem like I know what I'm talking about

2009 Civic Si

This started about a month ago. Basically if the car sits parked for more than an hour, the first movement from the steering wheel creates a grindy noise, but only through the first motion. The sound seems to come from right under the engine (center) This happens if I turn left or right. Once the first turn has been made (to the left or right) the sound doesn't reappear until after it's sat idle again.

This means I'm going to have to leave my car at the dealership over night so they can recreate this situation. Any idea's what could be causing this?

No idea, probably be best if you took to the dealer. But why are you letting the car idle/sit running for an hour or more?
