Thanks again for the video Kese.
WOW what a weekend. Still amazed on how well the car ran all weekend. We had been battling some boost controlling issues the last few times out where we couldnt get any more out of it. It would only make 30 psi and was going 9.70 pretty consistently. Knowing a 9.70 wasnt gonna cut it at WCF we made a wastegate spring change that helped bring the boost up on the top but it also brought it up in 1st gear. Knowing it was making to much power down low for a small tire all we could hope was that the track was there which it was all weekend. So first hit off the trailer it went a 9.38@160 which i was completely shocked by. My goal when building this car was to run a 9.5 only. So made a few small changes and it ran a 9.30@159. We sat out the last qualifier on sunday and tried to save the tranny for elimination. First rd roles around and we have a 9.8 car to race he ends up having issues and i get lucky because i end up breaking 4th up top so i throw it in 5th and get back on it to get the win light. Now the mad thrash begins rush back to the pits where we start to swap it out and get it ready for the next round. Turns out it not only broke 4th but also cracked the case where they usually crack. get it all finished and we ended up racing barts hatch(swap it) and getting the win with a 9.27@160. Went into the semis to race Ricky from RLZ to end up missing second and getting knocked out.
Never did a build thread or anything but the goal was to run 9.50 in true street trim with this car. Fastest i had ever been before was 11.5 in a turbo fwd. So 15 passes later(including license runs) ive gone 9.2. Couldnt be happier or more satisfied.
