Truechoice Phase 2 or TEIN HA
I'm looking for an affordable coilover setup. I'm down to the Truechoice Phase 2 ( http://www.truechoice.com/products/suspension.html ) kit or TEIN HA ( http://www.tein.com/hadamp.html ). Does Zeal make a coilover system at around the same price, $1000.00-$1200.00? Any help would be great
Of the two, I would do the Truechoice. The main difference between Truechoice and Ground Control/Koni is that Truechoice uses a Koni made treaded sleeve and a spring hat of their own make with the 2.25in ERS springs. It's a nice system but cost about $250 more then a Ground Control/Koni setup.
BTW: I did not think they made the Tein HA's anymore? Just the Super Street and Flex systems.

He said TEIN HA not SS ..
from the experience i have, the TEIN are of nice quality + the dampners are better valved and suited for higher spring rates than the KONI sports..
i have no problem on recommending the HA setup for track use at all
since i have a few friends who's driving on them pretty seriously without anything negative happening!
tein also offer a spring program like eibach ERS for their kits and they are cheaper ( and springs are springs so.. )
then i do not have direct experience with koni + GC or the Truechoice setup, but i guess from what i've read that they are both good setups and can run for a little less than the TEINS
but agia, if you are going in 600lbs/" + rates i would recommend the TEIN because of their better ranges than the sport konis ( except if the truechoice are revalved ??? )
hope that helps!
