Hi all,

First I have a YS1 or Y1 trasmission (it's stamped LSD on it, but without any sticker saying the code)

I wanted to throw an EK9 LSD in it, with a Gear X FD of 4.785. (Because my LSD is badly broken)

Is the EK9 LSD the same as the ITR LSD? I heard stories about the fact that the ITR LSD has not the same bolt pattern on the diff.

CTR LSD = ITR LSD.

If its a Y1 trans, neither the FD nor LSD will fit.

 

So whats the best thing I can do If I need a new LSD with a 4.785 FD in my Y1 trans?

 

MFactory B16A LSD and 4.928 FD. No 4.785 FD's available for the Y1.

It's my first time hearing Mfactory, I've been on their site and did a little research.
I'll purshace a Mfactory LSD with the FD 4.928. Will the Mfactory close gears will fit?

The product look amazing, can't wait to test them.

 

Yes, the close gears will fit, but might be too short for you needs combined with the FD.
