88-89 civic/crx fmic pics plz!!! fmic's of all sizes
im building a awd hatchback and im having troubles fitting an intercooler without making it look ghetto trimming cutting and no bumper support isnt an issue im looking for any pics of the 88-89 bumper with a fmic behind it . i just wanna see what ppl are doing , plz post fmic spec if you have any
any help would be AWSOME !!
this the fmic i have its a ebay intercooler that will do more then good with my goal of 200whp my main issue i gues is that its so short and the couplers are the grill
i can get ahold of a rc 6" which is quite a bit longer but the end tanks are thicker and i run into more clearance issues ????

Just a thought, if youre not planning on big boost, maybe you should try using a stock intercooler from a eclipse gst/gsx, their IC are small and i think stock they come with somewhere between 11-12 psi, not sure. but worth looking into if you want to hide your IC. good luck bro.

not trying to hide it so much just want it to look clean. i already boxed in a hole on the driver side for interooler tubing and have all my tubing fabbed up.you fit massive intercoolers behind jdm fronts ive done it i want to use a 88-89 bumper cus all my moldings and a jdm front cost to much to fit an intercooler haha id really like to find a jrc 8" they fit really good but are hard to find . my goal is 200whp on a greddy kit so it dosnt hhave to be anything huge but if i cut the hole grill out really nice it leave a huge hole to fill so a big blingin intercooler would be fine. the 88-89 bumper dont have and actually grill to cut out very well

ive fit a jrc 8 inch in a 90-91 bumper no problem the 88-89 bumoer for a civic isnt so easy the same jrc 8 inch went on my friends 88-89 crx bumper perfectly fine. my intercooler kit is from go autoworks they hooked it up just the intercooler is being stubbern asnd not tuvking behind the bumper . i like the srt 4 modifeid on the lx thats what im going for just the damn 88-89 bumper is so small
nice exactly what im going to do with mine cut off the end tanks to make it easier. how do you like it so far you must be running a small turbo judging by how small the charge pipping looks. whats your set-up?
