But since it seemed to pop up later than that problem; Here goes:
94 civic Si B18A1. Pretty much stock aside from some bolt ons (ran good with these for 2 years+)

Test drove it and pulled good until 3800-4k every gear it seemed except first (gear may be too low to notice) in a second gear pull it literally put me forward in the seat some as to how much power it let off of. It seems as if 30HP just disappears on a switch as if opposite of Vtec.
It doesn't bog, miss, sputter or anything noticeable and it isn't gradual. It's something i haven't encoutered before.
Any info needed Ill be glad to supply.

Yea it does no problem. Aside from the linked problem, it has no other problems than this one once warmed up.

 

and what ecu? is the ecu chiped?

 

Chipped P75 but with only a stock map burned on it. Haven't messed with any of this in years as its ran fine with it.
