So, my passenger side tie rod won't wanna come off... Is there a "way" to take it off?

Well i have had bad experiences with a tie rod remover( ok if you want to replace the bushing, because it'll probably destroy it)
I think the best way is to get a big hammer and hit where the balljoint goes into the cotterpin (the metal around where it holds it), just keep hiting it till it flys out of there.
lol I just watched eric the car guy lowerballjoint(tie rod) on an accord.

pickle fork will definitely work, however it will likely damage the joint and most certainly destroy the rubber boot.

use a pickle fork all the boot does is keep the grease from coming out and keep the ball joint from making noise, like every ball joint on my car has ripped boots have had no problems

I bought a pickle fork and I hate it everytime I use it my bushings always break, I'm telling you if you want any hope of salvaging them just bang it with a hammer. But if you dont care about your old boots then use the fork all you want it works (kinda)

so your removing the outer tie rod end from the knuckle right? use a balljoint seperator tool. like 20 bucks at autozone. works great. doesnt damage anything. boots are safe

i would only use the pickle fork as an absolute last resort. spray some pb on the spindle+tie rod joint and hit the spindle thats the "proper" way to do it.

Pickle Fork how do in the hell you use that??? Lol, looks wierd. And yeah, I'm removing the outer tie rod where the pin connects. The whole bolt busted loose while I was driving one day. And I also tried heating it up a little and also part/brake cleaner and the sucker is still on. Pretty hard object to take off a car.

And the plastic boot just covers the ball in the joint so that dirt doesn't get into it yeah? I imagine that it'll also make steering a bit harder due to the dirt in it.

Oh yea the tool that you posted would work great but I was talking about the fork that you still have to hammer inbetween thats the one that'll break all your boots, I still say big hammers the best way to go(easiest/cheapest)

well that boot holds the grease, so when it rips no grease...metal aganst metal. it wears out.

if you are replacing the outer tie rod. I would just use a balljoint seperator and call it a day. If you are just needing to take off the outer tie rod and put it back in to reuse, then I would use the hammer method.

Use the 3 jaw puller from autozone. I just did mine yesterday. Easy as cake.

I have no problem of my tie rod coming out of it's hole. It's where the rod is connected to the actual steering is what I'm trying to get loose... Where the boot is, and the nut attached to it? There's where my problem lies. I can't seem to get a good enough angle to unscrew the ACTUAL WHOLE TIE ROD not just where it rests in the hole.

In essence:
It's out of the hole.
The bolt that goes into the hole is stripped and i can't get a castle nut on.
And now I bought another tie rod, yet how do you physically screw it out easily?

I've tried two plumbing wrenches and two breaker bars on it one going lefty loosy, and one righty tighty because that's how the threads are. Yet it won't budge. If ya'll need pictures of my explanation please tell me... I feel like a noob...

Hey wondering if you damage your rubber boots by accident can you just buy boots?

I have seen boot kits but the ones i saw were for aftermarket performance parts you know like bright red and green ones... and when i drill down it says does not fit your vehicle...

can you just get boots?

Because I think all my balljoints need them.
