just heard paul major ran 6.70@225mph

 

Just checked on qualifying on GRS Motorsports' website, HOLY ****, Paul Major is f****n flying! 6.70 @ 225, new DR world record! Vrettos, 6.81 @ 185, 1st session (lifting after the 1000 ft. mark).

Check out Major's video. He held the left front tire literally INCHES from the pavement all the way to the 8th mile mark! It was the sickest, cleanest run I have ever seen from that car. Good stuff.

These DR cars are getting utterly outrageous.

AD Turbo S2000, 8.11 @ 172.

Van Natten, 9.16 @ 163.

Charm City Tuning, 9.21 @ 158.

 

We backed that up with a 9.23, tires are dead and track is cold.... Should do a .1X tomorrow with the new tires and MIRs great track prep

 

cant wait to see results from the 275 dr class......last year larry put his car on the bumper......keep an eye on don barnett (blown bird) also. look to see ronnie rhodes get in the 7's with his 68 camaro.

 

Rob Morse with the white TPR Hatch had issues. Not sure what, though.
