Ls-vtec sputtering/misfiring under full throttle
I have an ls/vtec swap in my 93 eg hatch, the motor was rebuilt nicely and the plugs show a very healthy running ls/vtec.
But i've been having sputtering problems, daily driving is perfectly fine and sometimes my car rips perfect with no problems but most of the time it sputters and doesn't put out full power with full throttle, it seems the more throttle i put on the sooner it sputters. It almost sounds like almost all my cylinders are misfiring at once, i've been trying to figure out if it could be my dizzy, fuel filter, injectors, and even ecu. i haven't tried much cause of my lack of money but i replaced a random part in my dizzy and sanded off some of the electrical parts of my dizzy for better conduction.
If anyone has any ideas it would be very helpful, please and thanks!

I had the exact same problem with my ls/vtec. It would kinda stutter for a couple of seconds and then come back in like a light switch. Ended up being the distributor. The glue on the pickups inside the housing around the reluctor had come loose. If your tach is jumping around when it starts missing, than you can pretty much gaurantee that its the distributor.
yea thats exactly what i thought since the tach reads off the distributor im gonna go try my friends dizzy for the weekend, my dizzy and a few other parts r from my old b16 so its been through a lot lol thanks tho man
