The causes the Rev on low RPM on 99 Sh Prelude
I apologize for the confusion.
The first question was; Sometimes when i accelerate it wont let me rev past the 6800 RPM or even 5K RPM. But normally i can rev up 8K. So what could cause that.
Also when I launch in first gear, it will pop out of the gear around 7-7.5K RPM. What could be wrong? My ATTS light is on, could that be causing the gear pop out??
Thank you guys for any input. Im fairly new to this stuff so please be more specific.
Thank you!

If i'm understanding your question2 correctly when you accelerate to 6800 rpm your first gear is pop out of gear, I would say change your transmission oil I'd recommend Torco MTF its awesome in honda trannies. If that doesn't work then you probably have and internal problem. I do not understand you first question.
1. IDK, are you at operating temp when you do this?
2. No, your ATTS light wouldn't cause or even indicate a transmission malfunction.

It's just the tranny.. prob the sleeve things it happens when they get older or have been driven hard on for a long time.. its normal wear and tear. i dont know what would stop you from revving past a certain rpm though.. if its in limp mode i think it wont rev past 3k or atleast thats what mine did.
I had a transmission that was really broken when i first bought my car.. second third and fifth syncros and sleeve things were bad (i really dont know what they are called lol..) I had to hold the shifter in place so it would not pop out of gear, so you could try that... or maybe try babying first since it already has issues and just rip it in second... and i had to match the rpms on the tranny gear so that it would just slip in place haha.. bad clutch too.. it wasnt very fun. =(
Oh, and if you are doing a tranny flush this is the best stuff to use... period.
