Default Hankook Tires vs. Nitto

Hey guys,

A good friend of mine recently purchased a really nice Lexus IS250 and is in market for new tires and so am I for my civic. So we've been looking at reviews on Hankook and Nitto tires and there are lots of mixed reviews about the two. If you have experienced with any of these brands can u please give a full detailed review about it. Thanks!

The IS250 Specs:

- Front: 225/40-18
- Rear: 255/40-18
- (Performance Tires)

My Car's Specs:

- Front and Rear 215/45-17

If the Vendor TIRERACK see's this thread, can u give us out the door price quotes on both tires. Thanks!

Just comparing brands is rather useless. Every single brand makes both decend and crappy tires.

Use in snow or freezing cold? How many miles do you need them to last?

You can get price quotes from website vendors, including the Tire Rack, by going on their website, putting them in a shopping cart, and showing the shipping charges. Just don't look for Nitto tires from Tire Rack because they don't carry that brand.

What do you plan on using the tires for? Rain? Snow? Auto-X? Etc.

We need more info. Most specifically, what is your price range and what is your overall desire usage for these tires?
