ok i have a 99 civic si coupe with fog lights. i bought the bumper with foglights already installed so they were used as well as the harness they had, but they had no switch for the inside to turn them on. therefore i decided to make them work without any wiring at all and tried hooking them up too my hid plug-----> pic for reference

the fog light power cable is the one with the duck tape. i just plug it in next to red and when i turn on my hids they come on and vice versa when i turn them off so it seems to work.

My question is..is there any problems ill encounter doing this or is there another way i could probably do this besides ordering a new kit and stuff??
